Why Should You
Donate?
Our work is only possible if we have the resources to deliver successful and meaningful projects to the highest level of quality possible, because that is what young people in Cornwall deserve. Donations mean we can cover our core costs such as Public Liability Insurance and this website's domain, whereas most funding we apply for only covers project delivery and not the day-to-day running costs (not our wages) that keeps the lights on!
Our Story
We started our company when we were 18, in 2022, responding to the lack of access to the creative arts for recreation and employment. Every young person we know had to leave Cornwall to pursue their creative ambition, or were left behind thinking there was nothing for them. The problem is not that people leave our county in order to actualise their passion, but rather Cornwall can appear to be a landscape that does not harbour creative pathways as an accessible, realisable, or reliable career or even a hobby. As young people who have experienced these hardships in Cornwall, we can and will change that.
Mission
1) Open accessible pathways into creative industries and to ignite and inspire young people’s agency and participation in their own Contemporary Cornish Identity.
2) Continue to create opportunities for young people, aged 8-18, by providing workshops to explore what it means to be young and Cornish today through creative expression and informal education, examining local culture and heritage.
3)Facilitate collaboration and inclusive creative practice, supporting all young people to shape their own narratives and actively contribute to an evolving, vibrant future for Cornwall.
