Safeguarding and GDPR

Our Safeguarding and GDPR Policy is available on request. 

Become You CIC Directors and volunteers working directly with young people are trained at a minimum to Level 3 in Safeguarding Children and Young People and the appropriate DBS checks are in place.

All contracted Consultants are trained at a minimum to Level 3 in Safeguarding Children and Young People and the appropriate Insurance and DBS checks are in place.

Data Privacy Statement

We will keep all personal data confidential. No personal data will be disclosed (unless there is a safeguarding issue which we are duty-bound to act upon). Otherwise, all reasonable steps to anonymise data will be taken.

We will use your data for three main purposes:

• The day-to-day administration of the CIC e.g. project referrals, communicating about project or event times and dates, and maintaining financial records for funding, audit and tax purposes.

• Contacting you to keep you informed of project details, services, and events.

• Evaluation and statistical analysis; gaining a better understanding of our service users and projects.

We are insured with Towergate Insurance and our Policy is available on request.
